Glitch of Life is a visual project based on the cellular automaton “Game of Life” invented by John Conway. The original system is a single-player game based on a computational structure that attempts to emulate social behavior patterns in digital systems.
In order to break down the predictable and interpretable visual patterns created by the “Game of Life,” glitch code creates visual noise which breaks down the pattern dictated by the rules of the game to imitate real life human-like social systems; unexpected and chaotic.
